Shelley’s Journey

My journey began in 1997. I had the privilege of living in a women’s sober house for the first 18 months of my recovery, it saved my life. When I finally left the sober living home a voice said to me, “You can do this Shelley.”, and I knew exactly what those words meant. The words were telling me to go ahead and open my own sober living home to help other women get back on their feet. That was over 20 years ago.

My Vision

To help women from all walks of life, to give them a new and fresh start at a life they had felt hopeless. A Light Unto My Path is a non-profit 501 C3 organization, utilizing a Board of Directors to help us when making Executive decisions and to reach the Visions goals.
